I am planning to go to las vegas in march and we were going to stay at the Desert rose hotel because they have two bedroom suites that are really reasonable but they are booked the weekend we are going. so we need another hotel that has the same set up. it doesn’t have to be on the strip, please help.

That actually isn’t a hotel but a timeshare. That is what you will have to look into renting for a two bedroom. With timeshares nearly going out of business they are now renting the units just like hotel rooms. Weekends here are crowded but you should still have no trouble finding one.

What hotels in las vegas has the best clubs? My friends and I like to party so we want to stay where the hottest clubs are.

For example if I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel can I get discounts or skip the line at Body English?

Most of them do. You need to ask for VIP passes when you check in. Option 2 is you can ask for a host and request that you and your party be put on the guest list.
Hard Rock gives complimentary passes to Body English. Palms will give VIP Passes to Moon and Playboy Club.

Again, you must ask the front desk!

New York, New York – It was really great. There’s a piano bar with dueling pianos that was pretty neat. There are 3 or 4 restaurants to eat at. I loved the Mexican place (can’t think of the name). Plus it has a roller coaster!

To get a hotel’s funbook you will either need to be staying there or have a coupon(generally). It’s not worth the time to check with 50 casinos to maybe get 2 free funbooks.

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years. We just returned from a month long stay in LV(6/4 – 7/5) We purchase 2 each of the LVA’s POV and the ACG – they are both worth far more than the cost.

Sure. Just remember the rule of thumb – the hotel rates over the weekends are 2.5 to 3 times more expensive then weekdays. Secondly, hotels along the strips are slightly more expensive than those located in downtown Vegas. The good thing of staying along the strip is you don’t have to rent a car and you can totally immense yourself in the Vegas vibes.

Check out the websites of travelocity, expedia , travelzoon and southwest. They kind of have a weekly promotion on Vegas.

I’m going to las vegas in January, and I was wondering which hotel I should book if I want to go swimming. I’m thinking that it’ll be pretty chilly in January so an outdoor pool probably wont be appealing. What are your experiences with this? Do people use the outdoor ones in winter?

You will find that many of the major hotels close their pools in the winter time.

I have had great success with this site. You just have to do your homework and keep looking. Compare apples to apples and read carefully. Avoid sites like Hotwire and Priceline. Know what hotel you are booking before paying.

my friends and i booked rooms at riviera… i was just wondering if there are any other hotels on the strip that let 18 year olds book rooms? i know most of them you have to be 21+

These are the only hotels in Vegas that allow 18+ to book and check into a room.
