Click Here Now For A Vegas Trip!I want to take a vacation to las vegas, Nevada. What are some fun things that 13 and 15 year old kids would enjoy? I already thought of the Hoover Dam and Adventureland, is there anything else that is fun and local? Thanks!
Kids like to go to Circus Circus, GameWorks and walk up and down the strip stopping in the M&M store and all those types of shops. They also surprisingly like to see shows (Ka at MGM or O at Bellagio) You can take them to see the tigers at Mirage and the Sharks at the Aquarium at Mandalay. There are plenty of things that kids will find intriguing in Vegas.
A special 5-minute video montage from TheStripPodcast’s Steve Friess documenting opening day for Aria at CityCenter in las vegas on Dec. 16, 2009. Includes footage of MGM Mirage CEO Jim Murren ringing the NYSE closing bell via satellite, fireworks over Aria and the public descending on the resort. Also featured are EXCLUSIVE photos throughout the property. The episode is scored by “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley and “Las Vegas Remixed” by Strange Radio.

I was in Las Vegas, Nevada for a few days last November and here is some video footage I shot from my room at the Excalibur hotel and casino.
My room faced the strip and from my vantage point you could see the strip (las vegas boulevard), the new Hooters hotel across the street, the MGM Grand, the Tropicana and the Luxor right next door.

On September 20, 1998, Jose Vigoa, a child of Fidel Castro’s revolution, launched what would be the most audacious and ruthless series of high-profile casino and armored car robberies that las vegas had ever seen. In a brazen sixteen-month reign of terror, he and his crew would hit the creme de la creme of Vegas hotels: the MGM, the Desert Inn, the New York–New York, the Mandalay Bay, and the Bellagio. The robberies were well planned and executed, and the police-”the stupids,” as Vigoa contemptuously referred to them-were all but helpless to stop them. But Lt. John Alamshaw, the twenty-three-year veteran in charge of robbery detectives, was not giving up so easily. For him, Vigoa’s rampage was a personal affront. And he would do whatever it took, even risk his badge, to bring Vigoa down.
I’m going to las vegas tomorrow. Do you have any suggestions about where should I go or what should I see there?
I also want to take a picture that you have to dress up as a dancer. Do you know any places that takes these photos in Vegas
MGM has a photo place that superimposes your photo over someone else’s body, and I think I change clothes place is across the street at Excalibur.
Don’t miss the fountains at Bellagio or the botanical gardens there. Also, the Venetian is a place not to miss. I love to people watch at Cesar’s Palace Forum Shops. The Wynn is also very beautiful at night with the huge indoor/outdoor waterfall. Other than that, they all seem a bit the same after a while. Those are all of my favorite places to check out!

when i went to vegas i used tickets 2nite. it’s located by mgm and the m&m store. all the tickets they sell there are half price. of course, not all the shows are guaranteed to be available! have fun!

"Jelly" gave you some good info, except I don’t know why you would need to take a cab to the Rio when Harrah’s provides a free shuttle.
For all of the free spectacles in LV
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/activities.cfm
http://www.vegas.com/attractions
But I think what you mean is how do I see a free production show or entertainer.
Harrah’s has for years given away two free tickets to see Mac King if you are a first time sign up for their "Total Rewards" slot club card. No, you don’t have to play a nickel, just sign up. >I can’t guarantee this one, you never know when things will change in LV< I am going to check this one out next month as I’m taking a "newbie" to LV for the first time in several years. They also hand out 2-4-1 coupons to this show, at the booth located in the Carnival Court next to Harrah’s. Usually they hand them out around show time.
For 1/2 price tickets
http://www.tix4tonight.com >has four locations, 3 on the strip & 1 downtown.
http://www.tickets2nite.com >located at the Coke bottle near MGM
They have "day of" 1/2 price tickets to events that are not sold out. Don’t expect any of the big name(s).
One way to get free tickets, is to gamble, play for a couple of hours, then ask to speak to a host, tell the host what you’re interested in. Tickets to shows which hardly ever sell out are some of the easiest comps in LV. It does not cost the casino anything & they have made a player happy, everybody wins.
It’s "usually" better to sign up for one account, you will accumulate points quicker with two of you playing on one account. >They will give you as many slot club cards as you want, more than one person can play on one account<
The easiest tickets to get comped would be an afternoon show, Sunday through Thursday.
The best(value) inexpensive shows
Mac King – Harrah’s
Dirk Arthur – Tropicana
Larry G. Jones – Fitzgeralds
Rick Thomas – Orleans
Good but not as good as the above shows
Nathan Burton – Planet Hollywood
Forever Plaid – Gold Coast
American Superstars – Stratosphere
Legends In Concert – Imperial Palace
Vinny Favarito – O’Sheas
Jay White – Riviera
