cheapest way to buy tickets for las vegas shows?

we’re going this october for our honeymoon and are of course trying to save a little money where we can.

The Tix booths can get you good discounts, however, they are usually more than 1/2 price. If you have your room booked already, call the hotel and ask for the Concierge desk. They can get you BOGO tickets alot and will know of deals coming up. Give them your number and they will call when they see something you may be interested in. It is a very useful service that the hotels offer you, take advantage of it.
Edit: Keep in mind that the actual price you pay will be about 20% more than the price of the tickets when you add tax and entertainment charges on to the ticket price.

Why is Garth Brooks charging $125 for tickets to his Vegas shows?

Several years ago he did a three year tour where he played smaller venues and charged way less then average ticket prices for the time. he said he’s made enough money already that his children’s children’s children would be set for life so he wanted to give all his fans a chance to see him. Now, he’s charging crazy amounts for his tickets. Is it just because it’s Vegas?

Is there a website that shows the distribution of bets in Vegas?

I am a big gambler on football, and I like looking at the percentage of people who put money a team compared to the opposing team. For example, if the 49ers are playing the Cowboys, I like to know if 39% of people have their money on 49ers, and 61% have their money on the Cowboys. Is there a webiste that shows this type of information from Vegas? I can’t seem to find one.

I think Covers.com has it broken down by % of people taking which side

but its mostly from offshore books- not vegas

I am going to las vegas for my 27th birthday, and I have only been there once before when I was 14, so I’d like some tips on things to do and see. I want to do some other things besides gambling, so if you know of any unique bars, shows, or locations I’d be happy to hear your suggestions.

What are some must see things?

Also this is the first vacation that my boyfriend and I will be taking together, so any tips for couples are greatly appreciated as well….thanks everyone!

You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don’t have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.
